Just wanted to recognize my late brother, Paul’s birthday 08.16.1980 – he would have been 24.  Only cherished memories somewhat fill the void in my heart . . .

Going to see M’s vs. Yanks this Friday.  Earlier in the season, we got to see them battle it out at Yankee Stadium.  My favorite player, Dan Wilson assisted the M’s victory with 6 RBIs!

Let’s check ourselves:

Galatians 5:19-23 declares, “The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality and debauchery, idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like . . . But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.”

Lord, we pray for less [much much less] sinful nature and more [much much more] fruits of the Spirit in all of our lives.  Amen.

Quick tip for the fellas:  Don’t sit down w/your wallet in your back pocket – it interferes with the balance and is harmful for your spine.
