I got it I got it – I’ve been tagged apparently. I was trying to avoid this xanga trend, but I think I’ll keep getting tagged until I actually post something, so here it is.
Random things about me:
1. Don’t read this one if you are sensitive to gore – I still cringe thinking about this. I have a scar on my chin directly underneath my mouth. Several years back, I got in a car accident where my chin bumped hard on the steering wheel making my teeth go through my chin. The worst part was sitting in the emergency room at Harborview for about 7 hours before getting treated, and then getting a doctor who didn’t seem to know what he was doing and kept putting needles in my chin from the inside and outside. My late bro, Donna and Stacy endured all those hours in the middle of the night waiting with me. The surgery made my bottom lip lose some nerves so it’s always partially numb – so if I dribble food or drinks down my chin and onto my clothes, you’ll know why.
2. I love pretty much any sport, but I dislike the sport of running. I know you have to run in some sports but I don’t mind that b/c there’s motivation for me.
3. I have been known to say that I don’t want kids. It’s not that I don’t want kids – I love kids and I think it would be so much fun to see what our kids would look like and how they would turn out, etc. But it’s this world | society that keeps getting worse that I don’t want them to face. :T
4. I love rain b/c it’s so refreshing.
5. I very rarely spend full price on clothes. I will look for sales and bargains any chance I get. I’m not ashamed to say that I get most of my stuff at places like Nordstrom Rack. This is a vast upgrade as I’ve pretty much grown up on hand-me-downs and thrift store clothes. Even though it was hard growing up, I don’t think I would’ve had it any other way b/c it taught me valuable life lessons.

hi | how r U doing?
Depriving the world a child from you and your husband would be sad. I think the world would benefit greatly.
i rarely pay full price for clothes too! ahhh!
i love shopping for sales/bargains.
I’m the same with 3-5
except I love rain in secret… people aren’t very nice when I tell them I prayed for rain during the summer months
i concur w/ jenskim
it’s raining now…i love it! =) it’s nice after 90/almost 100 degree weather.
i’ve felt the same about #3 for the first couple years of marriage, then my Mom told me that we need more children who were raised well for God, that they may be a light… it sounds better in Korean… and so, i opened my heart to having children, maybe a little too much… and i had to relearn the lesson of surrendering to His *good and perfect* will all over again… it’s a lesson worth relearning… and #5: i, too, being a pk, grew up on free, hand-me-down, discount and/or even hand-made (Mom) clothing! and i wouldn’t have it any other way, too… in fact, i hope i pass that on to my own children one day.
I used to feel the same way about #3…
I’m totally with you on #4 and #5
hope all is well!
Yay, Grace! Thanks for sharing! Your’s was very deep….woah.
hi grace..guess what movie we ended up watching? haha…not the incredibles but the LONGEST YARD! hahah…i had to change my sermon that night to Taming the tongue instead of talking about ‘purpose,’ b/c they were swearing up a storm! good lesson learned! but my kids are mature enough to handle it…=) anywho…HI
My goodness, I still remember when you lived right above me up on cougar mt and I had stopped by your house a couple days after your accident and saw the lower part of you face all bruised. It was the prelude correct?
=) COOL STUFF!! well… interesting that is ^^
i feel ya on the dribbling part….i had jaw surgery once and now can’t feel anything on my chin so if i drool or have food down there you’ll have to tell me cause i can’t feel it
Wow. Thank you for blessing all of us. I encourage you to tag at least three people so that they may also share with us a part of their lives that we normally wouldn’t get from the “hi’s” and “hello’s”. Also, I love those “Get to Know…” pics for Jubilee. I hope you were able to find some more people. I would be honored my profile to be shared if it’s not too late. Thanks again, Grace.
even imagining the scenario is making me shudder. i’m sure there must be some animal that eats slugs – i want to import and breed them.
yeah.. sometimes i think about how im going to raise my kids in the future
even though its a loooooong time away.. i get worried about how im gonna
raise them in this crazy perverted world.
but its good to know that i can just trust God and leave it in his hands
I feel you on the sport of running. I just don’t get it:) I would rather do any other excersise than running. In fact I like to excersise but I hate running in one spot for more than 10 minutes:)
miss grace: a challenge for you and your hubby
[a different kind of "tagging"
] sort through the many photos you’ve taken and post 5 of your top most favorite. i know there’s so many to choose from…it’ll be interesting to see through the eyes of the photographer and see which one’s you pick
