As the infamous quote goes . . . ’Love is blind’ – but I believe ‘Infatuation is blind’ in more cases.

So much for holiday spirit . . . I was watching the news and these are just a few things that happened.

1. When someone parked in a certain parking spot, another driver got out of their car and approached that car by yelling and swearing at them because it was supposed to be their spot.

2. Wal-Marts all across the country had some troubles because of their extremely big sales.  There were mobs and mobs of people [especially in the electronics section] that were fighting, arguing, pushing, etc.  People literally fell flat on their face trying to get in the door when it opened.

3. A woman bought an Xbox 360 for her son’s only wish for his Christmas present.  When she got home, a man pointed a gun at her and she had to give it up.

Sad.

God, help us remember why we celebrate this season.  Give us more patience in these busy and chaotic times.
