  • Jennifer & Scott  :  Seattle, Washington

Jennifer and Scott couldn’t take their eyes off each other throughout the entire day; they were so captivated by each other. During the ceremony, one of the Pastors even jokingly said something along the lines that they were in their own little world, unaware of anyone else. The main wedding color was striking as it is rarely used at weddings – the bridesmaids definitely stood out [in a good way]. A very unique element of their wedding was when they washed each others’ feet as a gift of honoring God while honoring each other in selflessness [you can see the 'feet-washing' images on Hun's site].

  • Everyone who has met me knows how much I love to laugh. Sometimes I even scare myself with my own laugh – it’s so uncontrollable. Anyways, I’m kinda embarrassed about this, but you can hear my laugh in the background [in Mike's nice ride] as well as see the back of my head in this Simple Photo Minute clip. The host of this clip is Jasmine Star who I met as well – we clicked instantly!  She has a dynamic personality and is absolutely beautiful!

  • Hyun Jung [aka Hannah] & Moses were so delightful. They have survived a long-distance relationship which is very admirable and rare. HJ has a bright smile that always remains the same. Moses was our very talented wedding videographer, and our wedding DVD was PHENOMENAL!

  • I saw this on a sign today – absolutely love it!

    The essence of life is
    to care,
    the secret of life is
    to dare,
    the adventure of life is
    to learn,
    the challenge of life is
    to change,
    the joy of life is
    to love.

  • My 15 seconds of fame . . .

After UW, I took a few courses at Northwest University some years back, and I’m still on their website as one of the rotating images.

  • Another one!  This is one of six that we have placed in contests held by WPJA!

The Wedding Photojournalist Association [WPJA], an International, membership-based organization, represents professional photographers skilled in the documentation of weddings and events in a candid, unobtrusive style. The WPJA was founded to uphold excellence in the area of wedding photojournalism.  The WPJA grants exclusive membership to less than 5 percent of photographers worldwide.

  • My beautiful cousin Lisa and Joseph were such a lovely couple to photograph!  Their love for each other is endearing and they are just too adorable together.

  • Today, Rachel and I went to an event where they had caricature drawings and the guy talked us into getting one drawn for free.  Does it look like us?

A shout-out to Rachel – she is one of my closest friends who is incredibly genuine and has a tremendous heart for others.  She always encourages me and keeps me laughing.  She’s a fun-loving gal [with cute dimples I might add] who makes anyone feel comfortable.  She is a passionate woman of God who makes a difference in people’s lives.  She is a rare gem.

  • Memorial Day fishing trip [Photographer: Grace Kim]

The first shift [Hun, Paul, and Yong] went to Martha Lake at 6:30am while the second shift [the rest of us] got there around 9am.  Not much action so we decided to go where any normal Seattleites go to kick off the rest of the day . . . that’s right – Starbucks!

Paul was happy because he had fishies [appropriately] on his cup while Glo was sad that she didn’t have any.

Techies Hun and Tim unite  ;)

We re-located to another lake somewhere up north where it was streetside, and then re-located again to a park.

Hun was fishing inside a forest-like setting and I decided to join him.  Not good.  I tried casting 4 times, and got it stuck in the trees 3 times, so most of my time was spent re-setting the pole.  It’s definitely harder than it looks.  :T

    Paul was determined.

Dave was having a blast!  [not really]

    I think Tiff was cold.

No one had any luck yet, so we packed up our things and headed to Tulalip Casino for their lunch buffet.

I think Glo was excited to get some food in her tummy.

This is what usually happens after a buffet if you’re not careful.

    And this.

Boy was I excited for dessert!  And no, that wasn’t all for me.  The food was pretty good, but dessert was pretty poor.

Notice the matching color scheme in this ‘class picture’.

At this point, some went shopping, some went home, but some of us were still determined.  Hun, Paul, Yong and I went somewhere in Edmonds to give it a final try.

Jackpot!  Yong is lovin’ on his rainbow trout!

After the good news, the shoppers joined us.  Everyone else is still waiting to get a bite.

Hun is looking for his fish.

David caught one too!  A bittersweet moment as he felt sorry for his rainbow trout.

He reluctantly smiles with his prize.

    Magnificent view that we enjoyed!

Patience is key . . . in fishing and in life.
