“Light makes photography. Embrace light. Admire it. Love it. But above all, know light. Know it for all you are worth, and you will know the key to photography.” George Eastman
I love photography for all its worth, but the biggest reason I love it is because it is a constant reminder of my relationship with God. In photography, finding light is sometimes challenging but necessary. Same goes for life – finding light is sometimes challenging but necessary. The quote above can be applied to photography, but also to our own lives as we strive towards the light, not darkness.
I’m so grateful for my hubby who got me into photography. I tried to refuse it at first, and I definitely did not want to since it involved so much technical information that I did not care to learn, but he bought me a camera anyways. I’m also grateful to God for providing me with the opportunity to capture and view His creation in ways I never imagined. And now I look at the world in frames where I compose almost every moment or environment even without a camera.
