  • Connie & Marshall  :  New York, New York

This lovely couple was so expressive and full of emotion as apparent in the images. The locale was Columbia University – a beautiful campus. A unique element of their wedding was that part of dinner was cooked right there on the spot. Marshall was so proud to tell me that his new wife planned everything from Mozambique, and indeed she did a wonderful job.

  • I love the ceiling picture. The architecture of the wedding ceremony is so nice and you absolutely captured the depth and height of it, even though I have never been to the place! Great job Grace!

  • the black and white of the bride coming down the isle is beautiful, but i have to say that intimate/comforting moment you caught of bride kissing her husband as he weeps of joy is my favorite.

  • i like how you start each wedding with a little blurb about the couple. you know, i met marshall at yonsei in 1998 when we were roomies. great pictures grace!

  • awesome stuff! it’s funny because i, too, had an SLR and was shooting the same people and place. your photos, somehow, have turned out 800x better than mine. love your work!

  • i was a bridesmaid in this wedding (i was the tall one) so my friend passed along your xanga site … your pix are beautiful and capture c&m so well.  my faves are definitely the ones of the best man’s toast and marshall’s response.

  • hi there – i know suann thru hanson — via the DC-area connection.  i used to work w/ connie and also went to grad school w/ her.  hopefully see you at a wedding soon!

  • Hehe, wow. So I was looking at Hun’s blog (which doesn’t have any notes on this set) and thought “Huh, that sure looks a lot like Marshall… Nah… He’s in NY…” lol. So then I came here and, hehe, yup. So cool. It’s weird, though, you guys have taken pictures of several of my friends now… (well, not too weird, I’d heard of you guys before even moving to Seattle)

Oh yeah, and awesome pictures :)
