Let’s Talk Politics
Ever since I was little, I never understood why when it came time for elections, there were so many commercials of running politicians bashing on other candidates. To this day, I don’t understand – it seems elementary. I would not vote for anyone who focuses on putting someone else down so publicly, rather someone who focuses on what they will look forward to accomplishing during their term.

problem is, all of them do it. so i end up not liking any candidate.
i agree… and this comic goes great with your entry.
hahahaha…. I agree, but … this comic strip is funny… not the meaning of it… but just the way they drew it. they look like poop at the end.
i agree – there are some REALLY horrible ones out there.
i mean, do they really believe its going to benefit them??
unfortunately politics is all about personalities.. it’s easier and gets our attention easier if they focus on the person rather than the issues (unless it’s an issue so big, it overshadows everything ie, iraq war, gay marriage or immigration).. even then they manage to incorporate personal bashing.. it’s been part of politics for a long time and it’s a game everyone plays.. and it probably won’t change..
sometimes it’s hard to know what a candidate really stands for so I can see why they would do it, but at the same time maybe the technique isn’t quite right…
unfortunately, even when the candidate doesn’t resort to such tactics, their political party still runs these kinds of ads…
haha “blarf” that’s a funny noise.
great job on the shots of the fools
yeah politics sucks, but not making a choice is worse. Commercials and ads are mostly sponsored by focus groups (extreme wings) that bash on the other candidates. Since politicians need to reach a broad range of people, they would “approve of the message”. For me going to the candidates sites will be more objective. Looking at their past projects and which committee they’re on, makes a difference in who to pick. Plus any media type of campaigning is biased since most major TV station are owned by extreme political parties. It’s good to know what they do year long rather than what they say during these campaigning times. Actions speak louder than words.
Pray and Vote. Just giving my $0.02.
I totally agree as well. Have a great weekend!~
i hate politics.
well said. only fools follow the crowd in more foolishness! the wise and prudent leader paves a new road for others to follow…
