My pastor said something along the lines of, “The grass is always greener on the other side, but no matter which side you’re on, you still have to mow it.”
TRUE THAT.
As appealing as it is, being on the other side won’t bring more happiness [maybe temporarily]. We so long to have what someone else has, but don’t realize that every side has its goods and bads. True joy is being happy within yourself . . . that’s where it’s at.
