Month: May 2007

  • Funny But Not Funny

  • The brilliant Enter the Studio team, who designed our website back in 2004, received the Merit and Silver Chubby awards in the ‘Interactive’ category at the 2007 Seattle Show!

  • Today marks 5 years since my brother’s passing. He left quite a legacy at a young age of 21. Always reminds me of what kind of legacy I want to leave.

‘Legacy’ by Nichole Nordeman hits the spot.

  • When we landed in Tennessee, Bethany and Jonathan met us at our hotel with awesome care packages. They also took us out for ribs that night, and they made us feel so comfortable. Talk about Southern hospitality! Some images from their celebration . . .

[below] Bethany’s father took this shot because he wanted a memory of the photographer.

[below] Right before the ceremony, the groom and his father take a peek.

[below] Such a poignant moment. I was blown away. Jonathan used his gift and played for his bride walking down the aisle.

[below] Bethany is involved with the deaf community so they had a sign language interpreter. I love watching people sign – it’s a beautiful language to me.

[below] The groom taking a picture of Hun taking a picture of him.

[below] Jonathan surprised Bethany with a special serenade. The song was one that was in a mix he made for her in the beginning stages of their relationship.

[below] Band buddies – Todd Agnew [my favorite - 'Grace like Rain']

[below] They met each other through swing dancing, so they showed us some of their cool moves.

    [below] So in love

  • We were thrilled when Kim contacted us, as she was a bridesmaid of one of our couples last year. Referrals mean that we’re doing something right. :)

Kim and Jimmy are easygoing and so down to earth. They are a couple that could make anyone comfortable to be around them. Here are some of my favorites from the delightful session.

  • Janet and Tony are adorable together, and you’ll see what I’m talking about . . .

[below] This series taken in our living room.

[below] The fabulous Hotel Kwonaman [aka their future home together] hosted us in California. Good memories with lashes, gum closet, lifetime supply of Airborne, Vanessa Carlton’s ‘A Thousand Miles’, ’deactivate right brain’, delish toast, and attire consultation.

[below] Have you noticed that I love feet shots? :)

[below] My favorite shot of the day

[below] Shopping wasn’t originally planned, but Janet accidentally left her second outfit at home [uncharacteristic of her], so we went hunting for one, and I saw an opportunity in one of the many retail stores we visited.

    [below] Two sunglass models

[below] Tony was so tired [we always say 'it's hard being a supermodel'], but he would get these sudden spurts of energy. One time he just grabbed Janet and ran around in the sand - so funny and cute!

    [below] Froliking in the water

[below] Janet was shy, but I was able to convince them to have one kiss shot. :)

[below] Tony made these shirts for their engagement. If you would like to get these shirts to enhance your future engagement, you can contact him

As Tony would say, ‘They pr0ved it!’

  • Jaimy and Isaac have been together for about 10 years. That is definitely something to be proud of! No wonder Jaimy was crying all day.

[below] Hun and I both caught this cute little moment; he just happened to be at a better angle. ;) They were the niece and nephew of the groom.

[below] There were large windows where we had them stand like mannequins.

[below] Let’s get it started in here!
