People ask if I’m sick of weddings yet. Not even a little bit. I love how each couple is so unique – their style, their personality, their dynamic. I love love.
No matter how many times we photograph at a location for an engagement or a wedding, we always strive to make it fresh. No session is alike [aka cookie-cutter]. How do we do that? We assess each couple’s individuality and work with it. Almost every single couple that we’ve photographed have mentioned that they are not comfortable in front of the camera. I don’t blame them. Most of us don’t pose for a living. So Hun and I do our best to make everyone feel comfortable while having fun, which in turn makes for better images. That’s why we love to photograph engagement sessions – not only do we get to know each couple better, the couple becomes more comfortable with us and the camera.
Consecutive Seattle sunshine for our three fabulous couples!

you guys are good. i should practice posing in a mirror looking comfortable so that i can be comfortable around you and hun whenever my day comes. haha, just kidding…
actually, my first step probably is to start dating so that solves that. HAHA.
hope things are going well.
You’re lucky to be doing what you love… it doesn’t feel like work, does it?
i love love too.
ryc: thank you and best of luck w/ your list!! i’m sure you’ve crossed off a lot on your list with all your great accomplishments.
i may not have met my groom yet but i’ve found the perfect photographers! your passion and talent really shines through each unique session. i wish you guys continued success!
the last one is an engagement session? so romantic and pretty
almost korean korean style ^__^
thats so cute. “i love love”
The last photo is striking. Thank you for the pictures.
i think engagement photos are so important too! initially, dave and i didn’t want to get it done because we wanted to save money, but we ended up caving and getting it done anyway. not only did the engagement photos served as really personal and beautiful decoration for the wedding, but it’s also more casual and great for portrait in our house and myspace photos… haha… great investment if you ask me.
and yes, i love love too.
I love that you love love.
whoa i think i know of the girl named kimmie.. she goes to a sister branch of my home church.. small world!
was it a beatles song…”all you need is love… doo do doo do doo”
my dad was winning for most of the game, but anne beat him out by stealing his longest road. we need to put an end to anne’s winning streak.
The shadow picture is so awesome! And I didn’t know Kimmie was engaged… we went to the same high school! She’s so sweet, yeah? I love love, too Grace.
nice new blog layout – matches your business site and each other’s blogs. like the wedding image with the huge tree – love trees.
