  • We had the usual crazy, unpredictable Seattle weather on Shayne and Patrick’s wedding day with bright sun one second and rain the other. Even so, Shayne was willing to sacrifice her dress for pictures. That’s just the type of person she was – happy go lucky. She told us that she always hides from cameras, but I’m not sure why because the camera loves her!

Dad never cries, but he started to cry during his toast – the daughters’ reactions below.

[below] Patrick acted like he was going to throw the garter, but ended up just handing it over to his buddy.

  • We can’t wait to show you images from Jennifer and James’ spectacular wedding in the Bay area! In the meantime, here is a memento from their celebration.

  • Hannah & KJ

    [below] From Hun’s film days . . . Hannah toasting at her older sister’s wedding . . .

And now it’s almost her turn to walk down the aisle.

Hannah was also Hun’s first Senior Portraits client from way back and KJ is the person whose work we love and trust for our design projects.

[below] They requested a picture next to the Vespa, so we told them that it would be cool if they rented one on their wedding day.

  • Fate brought Natalie and Justin together when they met on the other side of the world in Jordan. They had their engagement session on the week of their wedding because Justin recently flew in from Egypt and Turkey. Such a cool, calm and collected couple even during one of the craziest weeks of a couple’s life. Ever since she picked him up from the airport, they haven’t been able to keep their eyes and lips off of each other.

[below] This one makes me want to sing ‘Easy breezy beautiful cover girl.’ [CoverGirl jingle anyone?]

  • Gretchen and Matt’s wedding was extravagant, but they are so down to earth and humble – such a sweet couple.

[below] Gretchen chose a Voletta Couture gown and Kate Spade shoes.

[below] Matt wrote a touching note for his bride-to-be; he even went the extra mile and put it on a fancy card.

    [below] First glimpse

    [below] We had competition.

[below] Woops – looks like someone lost their dress. I don’t blame the flowergirl for wanting it off because it isn’t the most comfortable attire.

[below] We can always count on Wendy for a fabulous wedding. She’s been voted Seattle’s Best, and we know why – details are always impeccable, schedules run consistently smooth, she’s fun to be around, and she’s just plain good!

[below] Special song was sung by Gretchen’s sisters and brother-in-laws.

[below] Caught this one while they were in the room to sign their marriage license.

[below] At the Fairmont Hotel, the decor, food, and people were all beautiful!

[below] The ‘candy bar’ was a hit with kids and adults alike.

[below] Of course the photo booth always brings good times.

[below] Gretchen had the right idea and changed into nice comfy slippers.

[below] In his toast, Dad said that he’s taking the first flight out and joining them on their honeymoon.

[below] All girls in the family . . . Gretchen is the youngest of four daughters and four of these flowergirls are her nieces.
