  • We didn’t even know a venue like this existed in the greater Seattle area until we showed up at Miya and Dwayne’s wedding day. Landmark On The Sound is a beautiful historic structure with lots of old-fashioned charm.

[below] Sometimes the tuxedo shops are way off.

[below] Of course guys are always done getting ready with a quickness so there’s always more portrait time for the groom and his men.

    [below] Miya’s personal fan.

[below] I think this shot is going to be my favorite one I captured this year. Miya and her mother were having a private moment before Miya walked down the aisle and I’m sure they were both filled with many emotions at that very moment. The art behind them brings another powerful element into this. My own dear mother is dealing with an illness right now so this mother-daughter scene is even more precious to me. I totally believe that moms are God’s gift to the world. I love both my moms so much.

[below] He almost made it, but I think the pressure got to him. No matter what unpredictable things kids do, they always bring the ‘Awww’ factor.

[below] Dwayne’s mother welcomed Miya into the family by crowning her as a queen. Now that’s what you call a royal initiation.

Dwayne was so funny! He said, “Everyone, please make sure you get some cake. I paid some good money for it. Make sure you take a favor too. I paid good money for those.” So the lesson here is, when you attend weddings, make sure you take your party favor – the bride and groom spend time and/or money to provide them.

[below] Great party favor idea – milk and cookies!

[above] I think she really wanted to catch the bouquet. ;)

[below] Too funny – this little one would dance and pose and then go see what she looked like in the picture.

[below] We thought we were really out of it and there was a new technique where you dance with your phone, but turns out that it was fan that looked like a phone.

  • Wow, this is the best yet – it totally transports you. You guys are going from strength to strength…

  • Grace – great clarity, color and expressions.  I did a photo assignment at the Landmark for The Business Report.  The property is an old mason lodge turned hospital/nursing home turned retirement community.  It will be completely gutted and will include a restaurant, pool, theatre, and other goodies, with condos on the backside of the building (separate within the trees).  It’s special that you guys could capture a wedding there before all these changes take place.  I’m not certain, but it may be a historic landmark.  Your group poses continue to get better and better!

  • o my word these are beautiful people.  and that ring boy is SO cute.  heeheee…
