  • It seems as though the whole world, or at least the majority dislikes po-po’s.  It’s understandable since most of the time it’s because they write those nasty citations where lots of money has to be shelled out and insurance goes up.  I used to really dislike po-po’s, and my heart used to beat faster when I saw one even if I knew I wasn’t doing anything wrong.  But I started realizing that there is no reason to dislike them.  They are merely doing their jobs.  We are the ones who are doing wrong by breaking the speed limits, not stopping completely at ‘Stop’ signs, etc.  Yet, when they catch us, we get all upset at them and call them jerks.  If they didn’t pull people over and give out tickets for breaking the law, I can’t imagine how much more dangerous the roads would be for us to drive on.

On another note, God has been blessing our business from the very start.  For any of you out there that have lifted a prayer for us, we are immensely grateful!  One of the huge blessings that we received is being featured on The Knot magazine [click here to view].  Right before submitting it to them, I asked the Lord to get us that feature.  When we found out that we were chosen, we were ecstatic!  Only God makes all of this possible!

  • Yea they’re just doin their jobs, but some of em are power-hungry and they abuse that sometimes.

  • Amen to that. He makes all things possible!

I wannu get the magazine… hehe

  • some police are good, but i dislike the thought of them even still because i’ve had too many baaaaaaaaaaad experiences with them. although some may be good and just doing their job, some are meanies and they yell nasty things even when you’re not doing anything wrong (may God have mercy on them).  i think the world would be a better place if they were all nice hee hee…

but funny how you say your heart would start pounding faster whenever you saw them, even when you knew you werent doing anything wrong…. i’m like that. still am

congrats with the mag! Praise da LORD!

  • Congratulations on the magazine!  And, I didn’t know what you were talking about at first (po-po’s).  Is that a nicer way of saying the police?

  • Yeah…they are doing their jobs.  But all it takes is one bad cop having a bad day that decides to abuse his “power and authority.”  But for the most part, I don’t really mind them.

  • wow! congratulations, praise God! i am proud of you guys! hehe

  • and very cute profile picture =)

  • Congratulations!!!

  • You’re so right about the cops… thanks for ‘tweaking’ my perspective! we’re playing with some dates for a housewarming.. but I get the feeling you and Hun will be booked most Saturdays… if that ends up being the case when we do pick a date, we’ll have you over for dinner sometime!! :)

  • congratulations!
i hope your business continues to blossom as such!

  • “po-pos” puahhahaha. funny.

  • yay for ghkim.com!! congrats you guys!!

  • Hey grace… this is kristin from jubs… Complete and utter congrates to both of you guys… you guys are awesome!!!

  • i agree about the policemen… and of course, congratulations!!! i sent this verse to Hun, assuming you would see it, too, but here it is anyway!
“Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.” Proverbs 22:29 May God continue to bless you that you might glorify Him in all things…

  • Wow that’s awesome!  Definitely count me in as your client when my wedding day comes!!!  As for the police, yes, i couldn’t agree more.  I remember when i got a ticket one day, i said thank you when he was handing me the ticket (not for the ticket of course, but from habit i guess).  The officer seemed shocked by the resonse and said thanks for being patient and my willing cooperation.  Seemed like he was having a rough day. . .

  • God is good! I’m so happy for you and Hun!

  • wow!  one of the top photographers in the western washington!  we only wish you more success as the Lord leads the way.

  • thank u for ur comment, grace… yes! i know how God blessed you from keeping yours, so i’m sure will do the same for me… i also pray that i will become the woman of God who will meet another man’s expectations/standards… i’m just waiting for the day God lets us meet each other :D hehe

  • weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! (thats me excited!)

  • that’s true, but some cops are corrupted. | congratz.

  • Congratulations!!!!
    @@H WOW

  • what’s a po-po?

  • Grace, congrats on your layout! I am so proud of you guys! Way to follow your heart!

Re: po-po. I will have to say, I LOVE THEM. Why? The Washington State Patrol helped catch a guy who hit and ran on me, leaving me with back problems and a lot of therapy. For that reason, I was reminded of what their job is out there.. to catch the bad guys. It sucks though, when you are a “bad guy.” My heart too, stops when I see a police right behind me. I start to try to look like the innocent ASIAN DRIVER… (sloooooww). ha ha

  • What an amazing testimony to God’s goodness…Congratulations to ghkim photography.

  • Hi Grace,

Congrats on the layout! You and Hun are amazing and if I was getting married anytime soon I would definitely use you guys! :)

Keep up the great work and I’m sure I’ll see you soon!

    Love,

    Jo

  • yay~!! i’m beaming with pride!!!
